About This Project

Using datasets from UrbanSustain, my partner and I wrote a MapReduce program that identified communitied across the entire US that identified communities where medical needs are not being met. This involved research into what makes a community underserved, what portions of the population are most at risk, and further research afterwards to verify our results. We used a hadoop cluster of 10 machines to complete this task.
